Everyone is doing their job along the river. Daddy is getting leaf pack samples, Mama is trying to stand up against a strong current while she carries the kick seine net. I am taking a picture. Buddy, our dog, is swimming. Michael is looking as a small school of fish and everyone else is watching.

We are sampling the water along our garden which is behind the fence. We could see fish even though it was so cold. The little things in the water are water pennies. We found two today. They live on the bottom of rocks.s

This is our sample bucket. I can see a big Stonefly already! I wonder what else there is in there.
